Today, there are more and more remote positions. But remote working often means remote recruitment. Once the interview phase is over, how can you successfully integrate a new employee in your remote company?
To help you welcome your new employee in the best way, we have identified 5 important tips that we will share with you each week.
And to end this week, here is our first TIP! 😊
💥 Properly prepare the arrival of the new employee 💥
This step is critical. It allows a good integration and helps to put the new employee at ease. And let's face it, this is even more important when you work remotely.
It is often forgotten, but announcing the arrival of a new employee to all members of the company is a very important step. Whether it is by e-mail, video call or in a newsletter, this step should not be neglected.
It is also a good idea to send an e-mail to the new recruit beforehand, listing the various tasks that they will have to carry out, or to formally explain to them how a typical day/week goes: this will help them feel confident. They will be able to prepare themselves mentally and thus project themselves. Introduce the internal tools, offer them training or feedback from the very first days.
Don't forget: you can offer various contacts who will act as "mentors" for your new employees so that they can be guided through the process whenever they want.
